Accommodation Cleaner [Ireland]

This is a superb opportunity to join the newly opening hotel team in Dublin City Centre as Accommodation Assistant.

Reporting to the Accommodation Supervisor, the Accommodation Assistant will execute housekeeping duties for the hotel including preparing rooms for guests and ensuring our general areas are maintained to the highest standard.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Maintains excellent standards of cleanliness throughout the hotel.

· Clean guest bedrooms and bathrooms to a high and consistent level daily.

· To deal with all guest’s requests in a professional and timely manner.

· Vacuum rooms and corridors and maintain all public areas.

· Change and replenish bed linen, towels, and guest amenities in line with company guidelines.

· Undertake regular deep cleaning tasks when requested.

· Restock and maintain trolley on daily basis.

· To ensure the highest possible standard of personal hygiene, dress, appearance and conduct is maintained at all times.

1. Practical:

· Ensure high standard of cleaning as directed by supervisor

· Use of cleaning equipment

· Care of equipment

2. Customer Relations

· Encourage good relations with all clients on contract site

· Promptly deal with any queries or complaints

· Promote ISS Ireland

3. Training

· Partake in basic induction training for new staff

· Partake in ongoing training from supervisor

· Cooperate with safe working practices (manual handling/safe use of chemicals etc)

4. HSEQ

· Understand how ISO fits into daily business operations.

· Read, understand and work in accordance with the company’s HSEQ Policies.

· Complete tasks in accordance with company HSEQ procedures and work instructions

· Ensure safe work practices and procedures are followed on site

· Use of Personal Protective Clothing and Equipment (w/a)

Other features of the job :

It may be necessary to work alternative hours, shift patterns or unsociable hours, including weekends and sometimes more than contracted hours. As part of your job, you will be expected to attend training events and/or meetings and travel to other locations may be required. Local requirements will govern your patterns and locations of work.
