Pastry Chef [United Arab Emirates]


 

· To support directly to the Executive chef in the daily operation and work.

· To take the full responsibilities of his section when Executive chef is not there.

· To work according to the menu specifications (pictures or/and portions) set by Executive Chef.

· To keep working area at all times in Hygienic conditions according to the rules set by company.

· To control food stock and food portioning.

· To innovate new ideas and be creative

· Create new and exciting desserts to renew our menus and engage the interest of customers

· Have excellent knowledge of menu creation, whilst maintaining quality and controlling costs , menu engendering etc.

· Decorate pastries using different icings, toppings etc. to ensure the presentation will be beautiful and exciting

· Monitor stocks for baking ingredients such as flour, sugar etc. and make appropriate orders within budget

· Check quality of material and condition of equipment and devices used for cooking

· Guide and motivate pastry assistants and bakers to work more efficiently

· Identify staffing needs and help recruit and train personnel

· Maintain a lean and orderly cooking station and adhere to health and safety standards

· Should have the advance level food hygiene certificate or PIC advance level certificate.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: AED2,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
